Perfect Treatment For Kids And Pets With No Maintance

I had a customer contact me and ask if I could measure and install a window treatment for him. Since that is what I do, I said sure and asked what type he was interested in. He said an enclosed blinds for my doors.

I ‘ve seen enclosed blinds before, it’s blinds between the glass. I said he would need to contact a carpenter or a glass company it’s not something I would get involved in. He said no, no, no, the ad saids you don’t replace the glass, these door blinds fits onto you existing door and they say it’s easy to install. I told him I would look into it to see if it’s something I could do.

So I got the name of the company and started my investigation. I contacted the company that sells these door blinds and reviewed their product, measuring and installations instructions. It was true these are enclosed blinds that fit onto an existing door. They looked easy to install and no holes had to be drilled. Only thing was they had to change their door handle from a lever type to a round door knob. I was impressed and told him I would take the job.

So I went out and measured and was surprised at how fast they were received, about 5 days. I was a little nervous with this installation since this was a new product. Everything in the literature look good but you know how that goes…looks good on paper but actual product is a different story. I arrived at the job site opened the boxes and found the door blinds. The had a white frame with glass and a blind behind the glass. A small lever on the left to tilt the slats and a lever on the right to draw the blind up and down. So far so good.

I had these 2 door blinds installed within 20 mins each including the time it took to open the boxes. I was not rushing, matter of fact I was taking my time since this was all new to me. Never once took my drill out once. It was sooo easy and they looked nice and worked just like they were supposed to.

When finished I asked the customer why they choose this type of treatment. The wife said they wanted something on the doors and to block the sun from bleaching out the TV but mainly because of their dogs. They can look out all they want and never touch the blinds. I though, that’s right , these are the perfect blinds, they’re kid safe, pets safe plus you never have to dust them.
